It's Time

Jessica and I have decided that it's time for a new website. My current one has worked well, and it has displayed my pictures admirably. However it doesn't have the "pop" that other websites have, it doesn't have the appeal that other websites have. There are some great designs and some great companies out there that are making it easier than ever to create an incredible website.

I am so excited about the prospect of getting a new website, it will be a whole new look for Schaefer Photography, an even better image, and in the end more functional. It is my goal to make things as easy as possible for anyone out there who needs a photographer. From a beautiful website, to my package, to my personality and pictures I want you to have a great experience. So please check back soon, I hope to have my website up as soon as possible.

Little kids are great

I had the opportunity to spend some time with my two nephews over the weekend. Taylor is two and a half years old, and has now been skiing for a few months. Maddox is seven months old and is quite possibly the happiest baby you have ever met. Taylor is always on the go, and all he wants to do is play; cars, trains, football, hide and go seek, you name it he will do it. Having the ability to photograph two little kids has been a great opportunity for me, it is a very unique challenge to photograph young children, and I love being able to "practice" on my two nephews. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Taylor and Justin heading to the ski lift.

He loves the ski lift.

He can turn, stop, start, he is probably better than me.

My favorite picture of the day.

Thumbs up for a great day.

Maddox is a wonderfully happy baby.

Always smiling.

Have a great day.

I am excited...

I was at the Boettcher Mansion last week and I can't wait to shoot a wedding there. The renovations that they are making are incredible, and the landscaping is going to be amazing. I have always liked that whole area, in fact I worked at the Nature Center next door for a year, the scenery is incredible and it really feels like you are tucked away in the mountains. The mansion has always been an amazing location, and after this spring it is going to be even better. I feel very honored to be a part of their preferred vendor program, there are some amazing vendors there and I am excited to get to meet more of them. For those of you who have already booked the mansion, you won't be disappointed. And to those of you looking for a place to be married, you should head up to Lookout Mountain and check out this amazing venue.

I would also like to say thank you to the Table Mountain Inn for having me as their featured photographer last weekend at one of their tastings. It is an incredible place to have a reception, great food and a very helpful staff. The tasting was a great time, Jessica and I had the opportunity to talk to a few brides and grooms, and we got to sample some very delicious food. Good luck to everyone in their wedding planning.

I have added a new section (pricing) and got rid of a few things that didn't seem to be necessary. There is also an album preview you can link to as well. Please visit www.schaeferphotography.net and let me know what you think. Please also contact me with any questions that you may have about my services. Thanks and have a great day.
